Or in this case, out the front window where we found the good folks from the Red River Cowboy Church getting ready for the city wide fireworks show. Pastor Coffman tells us that this particular buggy might have been a delivery buggy and would have been similar to ones used in Old Greer County days at turn of the last century. The beautiful fellows providing the “horsepower” are Percheron crosses Duke and Dillon.
The fireworks show will be on Sunday, July 4th 2021. Bring your lawn chairs; sit on the bleachers; sit on your tailgate. But Ya’ll Come!! Free hotdogs, chips and drinks will be provided by the church. Fireworks start at dusk.
Had a wonderful tour of the Greer Co. museum given by Stephen Dock and Brenda. The museum is so full of great local history, I highly recommend to anyone to take the time to visit. We will for sure be back!
